Want to be a percussionist? Interested in drumming? Want to try your hand at DJ beats? In BEAT BUCKETS students will develop their inner rhythm by playing along with popular songs of different genres such as hip hop, latin, rock, pop, techno, world music, African rhythms, DJ beats, etc. As a bonus, students will learn the DJ scratch technique. This will help your child to learn various instruments in the future especially marching percussion, Marimba, and all kinds of percussion. This class is a great step in preparing for middle school band. We will have eight levels (beginner to advanced) for students to progress through individually.
