Want to be a percussionist? Interested in drumming? Want to try your hand at DJ beats? In BEAT BUCKETS, campers will develop their inner rhythm by playing along with popular songs of different genres such as hip hop, latin, rock, pop, tech , world music, African rhythms, DJ beats, etc. As a bonus, students will learn the DJ scratch technique. This camp will help your child to learn various instruments in the future especially marching percussion, Marimba, and all kinds of percussion. This is a great step in preparing for middle school band. We will divide campers into levels according to grade.
SUPPLY OPTIONS:
No supply fee: Use beat bucket and wooden drumsticks during camp, take nothing home.
$15 supply fee: 2 5-gallon "beat buckets" and a pair of wooden drumsticks to take home
$75 supply fee: 2 5-gallon "beat buckets", a drum practice pad (for lower noise practice), a pair of wooden drumsticks, a pair of color changing LED drumsticks,and a pair of LED glasses
Supply fee is due on first day of camp.
